Unit price / perA wonderful and easy little bladderwort, Utricularia bisquamata will spread throughout your entire collection via seed. It blooms in profusion spring through summer with many tiny flowers multicolored in yellow, violet, white, and orange. This form, ‘Betty’s Bay,’ is spectacular! It has larger flowers, with the flower's lower lip flaring widely like a twirling skirt caught mid-air! The upper part of the flower is a pale yellow, a nice contrast against the purple of the lower flower.
Please note; when we ship Utricularia, the delicate flowers cannot withstand the shipping process. You will likely receive a pot with no flowers but many small stolons (these look like small blades of grass) that indicate lots of healthy growth in the pot. These small faux leaves can be hard to see! But keep in mind that the real action is under the soil, where the Utricularia will have many, many tiny bladder-like traps! With a little time and care, they will start producing flowers.
Care Instructions
Sun: Prefers to hide in the shade of other plants, they will also thrive indoors, under grow lights
Water: Always sitting in a few inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 40 - 90 degrees
Dormancy: none needed

I know now why they have the reputation they do....everything arrived in perfect condition. Packing was exceptional...plants healthy!!! Will be back for future orders.
Was well packaged and I expect it to do quite well with the rest of my collection.
Everything came good, lots of liverwort overtaking the utricularia and so I had tk remove so much but now I can see the utricularia.
Arrived very small. I believe it has died but I'm still have a little hope
I received my shipment in a timely manner in a generously sized pot.
I’m still waiting for some blooms to happen.
I reached out to CC regarding when that might happen as I knew I was giving my Utricularia everything it needed.
I learned that I should fertilize with Maxsea so I did that so now I’m just waiting for that to kick in.
I can’t wait for it to flower as the blooms are just gorgeous.
It arrived safe, quickly and healthy...can't wait for it to start blooming!
I have loved all of your plants. You guys are by far the best out there! Thank you all V
The plant arrived in great shape. No flowers and a spent flower stalk. I does have numerous leaves so eventually she should bloom. I bought one elsewhere last year that never bloomed. I know Cal Carn recommends using some Maxsea on it every few weeks so I'll try that.
Healthy little plant. Seems to be doing nicely in the terrariumdespite the USPS managing deliver it 2 days late. Great service from CC as usual.
Plant came alive and well, very excited to see it take off.
👍👍👍
Great quality and perfect shipping.
Can't wait for it to bloom. Excellent plants, well packaged.
Received a nice clump of the plant. It was packed well and arrived safely. It is now thriving in my sunroom.
Great packaging and quality of plant. Definitely buy from them again.
I have yet to see it flower but I’ve been taking care of it and it seems to be spreading out — looks healthy.
I knew it was small… but I was kinda surprised at *how* small it actually is.. it’s barely visible to the naked eye. That’s on me tho.
Packed beautifully Thank you
Arrived packaged well, but I'm still waiting for it to do something. So far I have a beautiful mound of green moss in my terrarium, but gave it some food the other day so I'm hoping for some signs of growth.
The plant arrived well established and looks great
I purchased this little beautiful terrestrial Urticularia as soon as I learned that it was available (I was looking for it for a long time). I knew that I would have been out of town for several days so I asked the customer service to delay the shipment. Pity, the plant was sent earlier than agreed, and it stayed at my front door several days in the sun. I contacted the customer support and Alison has been extremely helpful, proactive, and very responsive, and she sent me a replacement right away. As a bonus I also received a red Drosera capensis together with the Urticularia :)
I've been looking for these plants for a while now and saw social media that you had them for sale, so I quickly bought one!
