Sarracenia [ ( x readii F2) x leucophylla ‘Schnell’s Ghost’ ] x leucophylla alba yellow F2 is a new release for 2024!  If you’re looking for a super white plant this one is for you! From their very first pitchers, these are some of the whitest plants Damon has made!. We’ve kept several for our personal collection but lucky for you, we can’t keep them all!

One of the things that makes this cross so beautiful is the newly forming pitchers are bright pink and as the pitchers mature they transform to a snowy white. This is the opposite of how Sarracenia usually color up! 

This cross is almost pure leucophylla with just a touch of rubra introgressed from when Damon selfed hhis first readii when he was 12 years old!

These are all seed-grown plants and in limited quantity.

Care Instructions
Sun: Full sun outdoors
Water: Always sitting in at least two inches of distilled or purified water, they prefer deep saucers of water or undrained containers in order to recreate their very water logged conditions
Temperature: 15 degrees - 100 degrees, needs protection from colder winters and always keep very wet when hot
Dormancy: All Sarracenia require a winter dormancy starting in October and ending in February. Many of the pitchers will turn brown and die back during this time. Leave them outdoors in full sun, sitting in distilled water during this period. If you live in an area that snows; over winter them indoors on a sunny windowsill in an unheated room or garage. Still sitting in full sun and distilled water.
